 Last Logos' Prevention Connection provides a great selection of products designed to generate awareness of public education campaigns and captivate a key target audience, the children in our communities.
Working closely with Public Educators during product development is essential to ensure the products we offer suit various programs and that our safety messages are appropriate.
All of our products are customizable so additional information such as emergency numbers or department names help the public identify who is promoting the program.
My interest in projects that relate to fire prevention dates back to 1990 when I started in the family business of marketing and business promotions. But most interesting to me was the job I was given to manage product development and distribution of Smokey Bear educational materials for Wildland Protection Campaigns.
Stumbling into the Fire Prevention market happened in 2006 where ever since we’ve been developing networks and improving product supply and selection. As Promotional Product Professionals we have a natural interest in business promotions paying particular attention to those interested in supporting fire prevention and education initiatives.
This “labour of love” has only become stronger as I spend countless hours of my own time networking with hundreds of Fire Chiefs and Public Educators and engaging in many a conversation related to prevention. My unique perspective has proven to be key for those looking to generate awareness for their carefully organized campaigns.
What seems to be a constant is the never ending buzz around program consistency and equality for a mutual cause. There is so much time spent on developing new curriculum and campaigns. Clearly there is a void and a lot of reinventing the wheel. Partnering to promote prevention, or combining forces, isn’t such a bad idea.
Perhaps you’re a lucky one from a rich community with ample budget and resources but from what I can gauge there seems to be a majority of poor communities requiring much assistance on many levels. Let’s team up.
A lot of hard work and devotion goes into developing campaigns. Often just to see a similar project get launched in a neighboring town. Or even nationally. If we worked together less of this would happen.
By registering at the forum, and simply posting your favorite educational program, you are sharing with colleagues who will benefit a great deal by having access to your great ideas. An awesome sense of accomplishment and generosity will be rewarded to those who participate!
